DRaW (UK) ltd is an established Landscape Architectural consultancy providing a comprehensive range of landscape design and assessment services to public and private sector clients. We are a registered practice of the Landscape Institute and pride ourselves on our reputation for reliability, expertise and value for money.
Our team of like-minded professionals share a passion for delivering imaginative project solutions and exceeding the expectations of our clients. We have an established track record in adding value to a wide range of projects both in the UK and overseas.
We utilise our past roles as, office managers and senior consultants within large international consultancies to provide a highly professional service, whilst retaining direct one-to-one relationships with our clients.
Our work involves the design, assessment, implementation and management of external spaces, from small urban courtyards to vast land reclamation sites.

Chris Davenport
DirectorChris Davenport Director, BA (Hons), Dip. LA, CMLI Chris is a founding member of DRaW and Chartered Landscape Architect with over 20 years experience. He has a background in mining and minerals, masterplanning, landscape and visual assessment, landscape design. Chris is an experienced Project Manager with international experience, responsible for the delivery of several large scale multi-disciplinary design and EIA projects. Chris also has specialist skills in 3D landform modelling, cut/ fill balancing and volumetric calculations.

Mike Estell
DirectorMike Estell Director, BA (Hons), Dip. LA, CMLI Mike is a Chartered Landscape Architect with over 23 years’ experience as a company director. He has extensive experience of the delivery of major public realm projects and led a wide range of masterplanning and green infrastructure projects. He specialises in AutoCAD and 3D visualisation software, leading development of these skills within the company. Mike lectures at Leeds Beckett University and has guest lectured at Sheffield University.

David Brittain
DirectorDavid Brittain, Director, BA (Hons), Dip. LA, CMLI. David is a Chartered Landscape Architect with over 20 years’ experience gained within both industry and consultancy, working on a varied range of projects including the design and planning of mineral extraction/restoration schemes, waste recycling facilities and commercial/industrial developments. He is experienced in LVIA/LVA work, use of AutoCAD, 3D design and GIS. Dave was formally a company Director for 15 years prior to Joining DRaW in 2024.

Robin Copeland
DirectorRobin Copeland Director, BA (Hons), Dip. LA, CMLI Robin is a Chartered Landscape Architect with a background in horticulture, landscape design, project management, landscape planning and landscape and visual assessment. He has worked on a wide range of multi-disciplinary projects (including major public realm and infrastructure projects) across the public, private and voluntary sectors and is passionate about creating environments that benefit people and wildlife. Robin is experienced in AutoCAD, Photoshop and LVIA/ LVA work and has been an examiner for the Landscape Institute's Pathway to Chartership since 2011.

Chris Longhorn
Chris Longhorn Senior Landscape Architect, BA (Hons), Dip. LA Chris is a Senior Landscape Architect with a background in highway design and transport planning. Prior to joining DRaW Chris worked as a multi-skilled consultant providing landscape and traffic consultancy services for a host of projects, including renewable energy developments, residential masterplanning and commercial schemes. He is experienced in preparing detailed design information and conceptual design. Chris has a wide knowledge of specialist software applications, including Autodesk products and Adobe creative suite.

Emma Oldroyd
Emma Oldroyd Associate, BA (Hons), Dip.LA, MLA, CMLI Emma is an Associate and Chartered Landscape Architect with over 20 years’ experience in masterplanning, urban design, landscape and open space assessments, public realm design and landscape led community focused design. Emma is passionate about achieving the best environments for people and nature throughout all stages of assessment, design, delivery and aftercare. Emma is an experienced project manager and team lead and has managed and worked with a range of disciplines, partners and clients. Emma is also a Senior Lecturer in Landscape Architecture (since 2007) and is a committee member of the Leeds Parks and Green Space Forum.

Matthew Stephens
Matthew Stephens Landscape Technician, BA (Hons) Architecture Matthew is a Landscape Technician at with a wide-ranging background in design and construction industries. He studied architecture at University of Lincoln and has 17 years’ experience as a technician in architecture, landscape architecture, horticulture, structural and civil engineering. He has worked on a wide range of projects from residential developments, places of worship and public realm schemes, to combined heat and power centres and vertical farm installations. Matthew is proficient in AutoCAD, KeySCAPE, QGIS and Abobe Creative Suite.

Beth Hutchinson
Beth Hutchinson Landscape Architect, BA (Hons) Beth is a Landscape Architect with a strong background in planting design and horticulture. She has a keen interest in the role of plants in design and their impact on biodiversity. She graduated with a first-class honours degree in Landscape Architecture, receiving the award for best planting design and strategy. Beth is also experienced in landscape planning and design, including specifying planting schemes and contributing to landscape and visual assessments. She is proficient in KeyScape, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD and QGIS

David Sokoya
Graduate Landscape ArchitectDavid Sokoya Graduate Landscape Architect, BA (Hons) Architecture, David is a Graduate Landscape Architect with background in Architecture, 3D visualisation and CAD modelling. Prior to joining DRaW David gained over three years’ experience as a 3D CAD Designer specialising in design visualisation and modelling. He is experienced in multidisciplinary collaboration and research-informed design processes. David has a strong interest in landscape-led design, combining nature with the built environment to enhance public health and well-being. David is also working towards his Masters in Landscape Architecture and is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD 3D, SolidWorks, SketchUp and QGIS.
